Nicole McGraw, Area Director

Nicole has a Master's in Social Work as well as considerable experience with working with children and families. As a licensed social worker, Nicole has a strong work ethic and drive. Nicole is an advocate for all special needs children.

History

The St. Could Downey Side office was established in May 1998. Patricia and Michael Schaefer were the initial staff hired to promote Downey Side's mission.

Since 1998 the St.Cloud downey Side office has placed nearly one hundred and fifty special needs children. Since we are located in Minnesota most of the children we place are MN state wards. However, we also place children from any state where Downey Side has a contract or purchase of service agreement.

Exploring Adoption Class Schedule

Downey Side…families for youth, invites perspective adoptive parents for Minnesota’s Waiting Children to attend MN Public Private Adoption Initiative Pre-Adopt Training on September 9th and 10th , 2011. Trainings will be located at Downey Side Minnesota’s Sauk Rapids location.

There is no charge to families preparing to adopt children under state guardianship. Pre-Registration is required. To register, email stcloud@downeyside.org or call 320-240-1433.
